Our vision

Thank you for visiting our registration system for student teachers and interns. Our pre-service vision is to develop and support a pipeline of effective urban teachers in partnership with our universities. The focus of the pre-service clinical experience is to:

• increase P-12 student achievement
• accelerate new teacher growth and development
• develop leadership through mentoring and professional opportunities
• increase the number of teachers of color.

Instructions

• Students in a preparation program (i.e., student teachers, pre-student teachers, or related-services interns)
1. Create an account. An account is required before your placement coordinator can register a placement.
2. Sign in to track the status of your background check and placements.
• Placement coordinators
1. Create an account. An account is required before you can register placements.
2. Sign in to register placements that you have arranged on behalf of student teachers and to track the statuses of background checks and placements.
• MPS employees
1. Sign in to review placements and update the statuses of background checks and placements.
2. If you are an MPS employee who will be student teaching (e.g., a Special Education Assistant preparing to be a teacher), then please use your college/university email address to create an account as a new user (i.e., do not sign in as an MPS employee).
